IT solutions provider Prog-IT acquired ICT service company Contrasec Oy – Neuvoa as buy-side advisor
Neuvoa Advisors has had the pleasure to act again as the buy-side advisor to Prog-IT, a provider of comprehensive IT solutions, when it acquired the Finnish ICT service company Contrasec Oy. Through this acquisition, Prog-IT strengthened its position in Finland and expanded its presence in the Pirkanmaa region, thereby accelerating the company’s growth.
The acquisition of Contrasec complemented Prog-IT’s service offering, particularly in infrastructure solutions and data center expertise. The two companies had clear synergies in operations, corporate culture, and objectives, which contributed to the successful completion of the acquisition. Contrasec’s owners continued to work within the Prog-IT Group.
“This acquisition strengthens our position both in terms of service offering and geographical presence, and it supports the execution of our growth-oriented strategy in Finland. For Prog-IT, it is important to be able to deliver comprehensive service solutions that cater to a broader market,” says Prog-IT CEO Topi Järvenpää.
